Dialogue between Ruvee and Sonu.

I and my friends have joined a spoken English class.

These days we are learning to speak in English. We have to speak in English in the classroom. If we speak in Sinhala, someone can tell our teacher about it. As a result, teacher can cut our marks. That is a rule.

One day my friend ruvee spoke in Sinhala. If I heard her words, I did not tell the teacher about it. But, one of my friends(Sonu) had heard too. Suddenly, she came to ruvee and asked about it.

This is the dialogue between ruvee and Sonu.

Sonu   :- You spoke in Sinhala, didn't you?😏

Ruvee :- What nonsense are you talking?😲

Sonu   :- Please accept:😠 both my friend and I                      heard.

Ruvee :- You both must be deaf.😖

Sonu   :- Let's go to the office and find who are                      deaf!😡

Ruvee :- You mean we should go to the office?😟

Sonu   :- Yeah, why argue here?😬

Ruvee :- Can you tell what I told in Sinhala?😒

Sonu   :- You had been talking in Sinhala all the                    while.🤨

Ruvee :- How can you prove?🤔

Sonu   :- Ask your conscience man.😏

Ruvee :- You know, at times we have to speak in                  Sinhala.🙄

Sonu   :- But we must honour the rules here.😏

Ruvee :- Damn rules!😥 We are all learners.

Sonu   :- How can you learn to speak without                        speaking?😌

Ruvee :- Bloody hell! ☹️What do you want me to                  do?

Sonu   :- Do you admit speaking in Sinhala?

Ruvee :- Yeah, I do.😒

Sonu   :- Then come along to the office, 🤨please.

Ruvee :- Let's come to a deal.🙂 I'll buy you a                        packet of fried rice if you spare me.

Sonu   :- That sounds nice.😋 But a packet of                           fride rice is nothing. 😏

Let me tell you, buy two packets. 😏Ok?

Ruvee :- Ok, done!😔

Sonu   :- Then I'll come around seven in the                          evening.☝

Ruvee :- Ok, come.😊

Sonu went to her place again. Then I helped ruvee to speak in English. As I think, Ruvee never speak in Sinhala in the classroom. We were happy because Sonu did not tell that about the teacher. But, we gave two packets of fried rice. If Sonu is a cunning girl, she teached us a good lesson. As a result, Ruvee can speak in English very well. Ruvee is a clever girl now.
